Summer!!

I love summer!! It has been getting nicer and warmer and we are loving it! We've been able to spend a lot of time at the park and time with friends. These three little ones have a lot of fun together. By that I mean they have fun stealing each others toys and sippy cups as well as eating each other's food!

My grandma's Alzheimer's has been getting worse and worse. My brother and uncle decided it was time to take her to a home where she could get full time care. She has lived with my brother for the past 6 or 7 years. He has been so good with her through all of her hard times and it was a really hard decision for him to make. Anyways, we decided to have a little bbq a couple days before she went to her new home. Grandma, Paislee, and Emma spent most of the time outside playing fetch with Bud.

A couple days ago Paislee and I went to visit my Grandma. It was a very interesting visit. There was one lady that came up to us and kept singing "I've been workin on the railroad". She sang it over and over for about 20 min. It was pretty funny. When I first got there my grandma saw me through the window walking up to the door and she got so excited and started waving to me. It made me feel so good that she remembered me. She gets confused about details of who I am, but she recognizes that she knows me. It was a lot harder than I thought to see her there. I just hope that she is happy and feels loved.

Lastly, I just have to mention how much Paislee has her Grandpa wrapped around her finger. I've probably already said this a million times, but Paislee and her Grandpa have a really close bond. Gerald has always been an amazing Dad to Danny and now he is such an amazing Grandpa. Paislee is so lucky to have so many people around her that love her.

Warm Weather Finally!!

The past few days have been so rainy and gloomy, but today is so nice! I have this week off before I start my 8 weeks of full time clinical, so I hope the rest of the week stays nice. We decided to spend the day at the park. Paislee loves walks and swings, so we went to Alameda park and walked and swang for awhile. Here are a few cute pictures:

Easter

This is Easter was pretty mellow. We woke up and ate breakfast before we pulled out Paislee's Easter basket. She got her first golf club from the Easter bunny ( I have a feeling it won't be her last :)) We only got a few pictures of Paislee in her Easter dress and she looked so cute!

Bath Time

We love bath time in the Teeples home! Everythime we turn on the water in the bathroom, Paislee goes straight to the tub and trys to climb in. It's a pretty comical time watching her play and splash in the tub. We are usually drenched by the time we're finished.

Cute Pictures

Paislee is getting so big and changing so much. She is so much fun to have around! She is starting to talk like crazy. She says dada, mama, book, apple, uh-oh ( she says uh-oh after she drops something on the floor, it has become a fun little game for her) papa, baby, and no. We think that she thinks that the dogs name is no, probably because we are always telling him no :) She loves her fishy. We can always tell when she wakes up from her nap because she starts laughing and talking and when we go in her room she is pointing and laughing at her fish. She loves her books. We just have to say book and she gets excited and goes to get a book. I'm surprised everyday how much she is learning. Here are some random cute pics over the last little bit:

She has started closing her eyes when we take pictures because of the flash. Its pretty funny!

Ready for church

One year!!

Paislee is officially a year old! Her birthday was on the 15th of March. I usually have clinicals that day, but I decided I needed to take the day off to hang out with her ( not that she would know, so it was more for me than her :)) We just lounged around that day until Dad got off work. When he got home we went to the pet shop to pick out her first pet........a little fishy! After that we came home and opened up presents and got out the birthday cake. I was hoping she would dig into the cake and get messy, but she was very apprehensive to get messy, so we helped her a little. It turned out to be a great day and we are so happy to have Paislee in our lives.

As you can see everything still goes in her mouth!
Not a big fan of cake
Her first fishy

A couple weeks after her birthday we had her birthday party. We decided to have just a small get together and it turned out to be a lot of fun! My wonderful photographic artists (sisters) took a ton of fun pictures. I will post them when I get them. Here are a few of the pictures that I took:

Grandma Lani and Paislee.

This is the first cake we got. I dropped it right when we walked into our house so we had to go back and get another one. Leave it to me!! :)

Back tracking

I know I'm a little behind on posts, but I figured it was better late than never right?! Here are some pictures from the Christensen/Teeples family Christmas Party. Every year we have a Christmas party the week before Christmas with Danny's side. All of his brothers and sisters and kids all come. I don't know how many people end up being there, but I know it is a house full. All of the grandkids get stockings from santa and then we exchange presents. It is always a fun time and good to see everyone. This was Paislee's first year and I'm sure she thought we were all crazy!!

We spent Christmas weekend in Utah at my mom's house. It was a lot of fun, as always. Jessie was home from school, so we got to spend time with her and do lots of shopping!! I didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked. We realized that we hardly took any pictures because we were so focused on the video camera. Paislee didn't really pay too much attention to her presents, which is probably good, becasue they were pretty boring presents. Here are a few of the pictures we took:

Paislee with her Great Grandpa Waite. (She wasn't to sure about the situation :) )
